Eric joined Sofinnova as an Analyst in 2025, where he focuses on biopharmaceutical company investments in multiple disease areas and therapeutic modalities.
Prior to joining Sofinnova, Eric completed his PhD in Neuroscience at Johns Hopkins University in the lab of Dr. Dwight Bergles. Eric’s research leveraged novel microscopy methods and to examine how non-neuronal cells signal in the brain to influence animal behavior. He also studied how ketamine, a fast-acting antidepressant, disrupts this signaling. During his PhD, Eric held leadership roles in the Hopkins Graduate Consulting Club and was worked as a Venture Fellow for Insight Partners and Sofinnova.
Eric earned his PhD in Neuroscience from Johns Hopkins University. He completed a BA in Neuroscience from Washington University in St. Louis, where he did research on Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy in the School of Medicine.
