Katie So’oto

Executive Assistant

Katie So’oto joined Sofinnova Ventures in 2011, and is an Executive Assistant for the Information Technology team and Hooman Shahlavi, Director of Legal Affairs. Prior to her role at Sofinnova, Katie worked for several years as an Executive Assistant at Russell Reynolds, where she supported an executive recruiter that specialized in senior-level marketing, sales and product management searches for Fortune 500 clients and private equity or venture backed companies, with a focus on the technology space.

Katie also managed administrative and event planning functions for the finance, engineering, QA and marketing teams at Tellme Networks, a speech recognition software company acquired by Microsoft. Prior to Tellme Networks, Katie held positions as a Practice Coordinator at a San Francisco-based dental group and Office Manager of ‘Ailana Hawaiian Fabrics & Designs.

Katie studied Business Administration at Canada College.
